The illustrations are based on the musicians in the band featuring loose and free lines. While creating this piece I listened to the cd and classic jazz tracks and let my hand move freely to the music, creating the organic black marker lines. The block textured font further visualizes the swing, staccato beats, and improvisation in jazz.
